The earrings are part of a series of handmade silver jewelry inspired by the most famous and valuable examples of Slovenian archaeological heritage. Handmade by means of traditional silver processing techniques makes each piece different and unique.

The “Lunula” earrings are inspired by the universal symbol, the moon, which has always been associated with women due to its cyclical nature. As an amulet that is said to protect, bring fertility and prosperity, this amulet has been found all over the world since ancient times.

The silver owls were made for the Tolmin Museum gift-shop as homage to the Greek Owl ceramic cup (skyphos) - one of the most important Iron-age finds in the Soča river region. Crafted in silver, they continue to embody the powerful connection between ancient art and contemporary jewelry.
